Aragon Automotive and Mobility Cluster
The Aragon Automotive and Mobility Cluster (CAAR) faces significant challenges, among which the launch of its 2024–2027 Strategic Plan stands out. This plan was developed after an in-depth process of strategic reflection in which the participation of the organization’s members was key to analyzing the opportunities arising in a sector made up of more than 300 companies employing 34,000 people, 27% of all those working in Aragon’s manufacturing industry.
This reflection shows that there are four clear trends that will shape the future (electric vehicles, connected and autonomous vehicles, mobility services, and sustainability), all of which impact the entire automotive and mobility ecosystem. Their direct implications include electrification affecting all types of vehicles, the growing prominence of Chinese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) expanding massively beyond their domestic markets, decarbonization as a work opportunity, the emergence of new production hubs, and the expected increase in sales from mobility services and new business lines.
